The work involved with the construction of the new 115,000 sf Caribou Community School consisted of the following.

• Complete ground-up build and relocation of athletic fields.
• Energy efficiency and handicap accessibility was the focus of the build for the communities K-8 student body.
• Two new gymnasiums. These provide all grade levels access throughout the day to the gym with more seating than previous. Additionally, the school can now be host to their basketball games because they have a home court.
• Demolition of two schools.
